The knife holder is conveyed via two stainless steel hinged chains. Adjustable guardrails allow the products to pass through safely. This ensures optimal cleaning of the knife holder from all sides via the cleaning nozzles specially adjusted to the product. At a transport speed of 2.6 m/min, an average of 28 ITEC knife holders of type 22240 or 14 pieces type 22200 can be cleaned per minute. For intermediate cleaning, the speed can be set to 5.2m /min.
The machine has a water tank with a volume of approx. 400 litre. The cleaning water is heated with 2x5 kW radiators to max. 43°C. The rinse is carried out with 82°C fresh water (on site).
Two drawers with removable fine-pored sieves ensure optimal machine hygiene.
Also, two large maintenance flaps, through which the entire interior is easily accessible.
